Ruby lives in Oban, almost back to her roots, which was Glenachulish. She has been creative all of her life. She loves people, animals, life, and… everything!
Having lost a lot of her arm movements she searched You Tube and a video titled
” You can’t make a mistake ” really caught her eye. And that’s when she was introduced to Doodles/Zentangle.
Some of Ruby’s designs are inspired by original Zentangle designs especially in the beginning. She finds while drawing she is in a meditative state most of the time and finds it soooo empowering.
When making a card that’s been requested, like an initial card, she likes to keep that person in her mind, (or have a photo of them if she doesn’t know them,) all while she’s drawing the doodle card. Making the card just that wee bit more special.
