Etiverre Fused Glass is a double act consisting of Shirley and husband Colin. We have been designing and making fused glass products since 2017 when we bought a kiln. The name Etiverre was inspired by us living on the shores of Loch Etive and ‘verre’ being French for ‘glass’. Inspiration comes from numerous sources, including our surroundings. We each have our specialties. We like to try new designs and experiment with new techniques. Like most handcrafted items, each piece is unique. Opening the kiln after firing pieces can be a joy and occasionally a disappointment, as there is no certainty about how things will turn out.
