Alison was brought up in Edinburgh and inherited a potter’s wheel and kiln from her mother. She finally settled by the shores of beautiful Argyll, the home of her forebears. The ever-evolving pottery journey began about 12 years ago, mostly learning from You Tube. Inspiration from the colours and patterns of the sea and hoping to create pieces which are decorative, pleasing and practical.
